Diana Proenza
Diana Proenza is a PhD candidate in English specializing in 20th-century literature and material culture. Diana's research focuses on resistant ecologies of disgust and waste in global modernisms of the Americas, including the Harlem Renaissance Black Press, European expat women avant-gardes, Latin American feminist modernismos, and the (post)colonial Caribbean. She also works as a graduate assistant and printer in BookLab, conducting hands-on instruction and programming in the book arts.
