Kathleen Orr

Kathleen Orr earned an MS in Curriculum & Instruction from National University in San Diego and a PhD in Professional Studies in Education, Writing, and Composition from Capella University in Minneapolis. Since 2015 she has taught writing at the University of Maryland’s Global Campus, and she is also a high school choral music director in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Kathleen’s teaching experience also extends to the martial arts studio, where she is a 6th degree black belt and master instructor in the United Tang Soo Do Federation. Kathleen is teaching both Academic Writing in AWP and Writing Case Studies & Investigative Reports in PWP this semester.
